About Grant:
When I was eleven, I saw my first a cappella group (Toxic Audio) in Orlando, Florida, and since then I've loved to sing and pretend I am a drum set. It makes me happy, and I hope it makes others happy too. I come from a great family of six who for 10 years put up with sounds such as "boom, boom, ba do do doom" and "p p ka p pp ka pp" constantly filling the house (even in my sleep... or so they say). While serving as a Young Performing Missionary in Nauvoo (2004) I was so impressed with Vocal Point's performance there, that I talked the other YPM guys into forming our own group: "Vocal Ointment". We had a smash one-night performance. A year later, I served a mission in Tokyo, and loved it. Now if I could only learn to beatbox in Japanese...
